Back when flip phones were still a thing and the modern day internet was still coming around, this seemed like a pretty good job to have. Working as a graphic designer for the largest military branch was pretty cool. The people made the experience that much better!

II am really obsessed with knowing my roots. Having a grandmother who can still tell me the names of all the people in her old photos and give a few stories too, is such a blessings. This photo of my great grandmother (first of her family born out of slavery) and all her kids is something I truly treasure.

Much like every year before, I will walk into 2020 with great intentions and continue to work on the things I need to work on. Photography and writing are two things I've always enjoyed. So I'll continue to do what I love. And maybe finally learn how to play the guitar.

Or as I like to call it woman power. Women from every branch of the U.S. military having discussions with women from partner nations during a Joint Training Exercise in Jordan. There wasn't much difference in the military experiences.
